12 years limited warranty. VS America, Inc. warrants all products provided on the project for 12 years unless otherwise noted. Mechanical components and soft seating elements are warranted for five years. Standard fabrics and upholstery are warranted for five years – COM’s are excluded from the warranty. Writable laminates are warranted for three years. The warranty is given to the initial customer and is valid for as long as the initial customer owns the product. This warranty, which runs from the date of delivery, covers defects in materials and craftsmanship found during normal usage of the products during the warranty period. Normal wear and tear of the product is not covered under this warranty (including, but not limited to, superficial or visual damages that do not affect the use or safety of the product or consumable parts such as glides). Freight damage is excluded and will be handled under separate terms. To ensure product longevity, unless outdoor use is explicitly authorized, VS products should be used in climate-controlled indoor environments. Damage caused by exposure to excessive humidity or other environmental factors – including corrosion, swelling, mold, or mildew – is not covered under this warranty. Customer modifications, unless approved by VS America, are not covered under the warranty. VS will pass along any warranty it receives with respect to third-party supplied products.

If a VS product is defective, and if notice of the defect is given to VS America, Inc. within the applicable warranty period, VS America, Inc., at its option, will repair or replace the defective product with a comparable product or component or provide a credit up to the purchase price. VS reserves the right to request that product be returned for inspection prior to granting a remedy. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and VS America, Inc. hereby disclaims any other warranties or representations of any kind or character with regard to the products sold herein, including, without limitation, their merchantability, suitability or fitness for a particular purpose.
