Care and cleaning
of powder coated finishes.
General: Powder coated surfaces are very easy to look after. Slightly dirty surfaces can be cleaned using a moist cloth or sponge. Use neutral cleaner on dirtier surfaces and finish off using clean water.
Don't use sharp and/or scouring cleaning agents as they could easily damage the powder coated surface. This also includes all liquid cleaning agents which contain abrasive whiting (powdered chalk) or similar ingredients. Don't use acidic or alkaline cleaning agents or organic solvents.
Only use cleaning cloths, wipes or natural or synthetic sponges; do not use cleaning pads made of plastic or steel wool as these can cause permanent damage to the surface structure. Don't use steam jet cleaning machines.
It is best to contact the VS Service directly if the powder coating is extremely dirty or damaged.
